About Precision Vasectomy
Dr. Colin Irwin is the founder of Precision Vasectomy and a practicing GP based in Cork.
He completed his vasectomy training through the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health (FSRH) in the UK and holds the Vasectomy SSM qualification — the only officially accredited training pathway for vasectomy provision in the UK and Ireland.
Dr. Irwin studied law at University College Cork (UCC) before going on to study medicine at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI). He has worked extensively in hospitals and general practice across Ireland, the UK, and Australia, gaining broad clinical experience across diverse healthcare systems.
He is an active member of the Irish College of General Practitioners (ICGP), and in addition to his clinical work, lectures at the Institute of Education in Dublin, preparing prospective medical students for the HPAT exam.
He lives in Cork with his wife and young family.
