Vasectomy Cost
At Precision Vasectomy, our no scalpel vasectomy procedure costs a flat fee of €599. This fee is comprehensive and includes the initial consultation, the procedure, post operative check-ups (if needed) and the two semen analysis tests carried out 3 and 4 months after the procedure.
We will never charge our patients to simply talk to their vasectomy provider or receive follow up care. While most of our patients do not require any check-ups after the procedure, we make sure that all our patients know that we are just a phone call away and should they need to be seen, that appointment will of course be covered by the flat fee.

Medical Card, Insurance & Affordability
Some medical card holders can avail of free or highly discounted vasectomies through the HSE, though they are often subject to long waiting lists. Precision Vasectomy is a private clinic and as such, we cannot accept medical cards.
Many private insurance providers including Laya, VHI, and Irish Life Health include vasectomy benefits which can help offset the cost of the procedure. In addition to this, as a medical procedure, the vasectomy is eligible for the 20% tax relief from Revenue. Whether you hold private insurance or not, you can claim back €120 from Revenue on your no scalpel vasectomy procedure.

As a medical procedure, the cost of a vasectomy is eligible for a 20% tax relief. This means that you can get €120 back from Revenue through this scheme, essentially reducing the price of your vasectomy to €480.
